Coinsiding with the launch of the Pixel 6 family in six new colorways came Material You, a new Google Material Design that allows users to customize their UI experience through playful shapes and color palettes inspired by the phone’s wallpaper. Now, every aspect of a phone—from the outside to the inside—is as unique as the person using it. For this cross-functional campaign, the key artwork utilizies collage to combine product color stories with new UI shapes from Material You, popular Google apps, and imagery that further defines the unique interests of the persona.
Responsibilities included leading a team of art directors, designers and writers through the ideation phase; presenting the concept to key stakeholders for approval; art direction of the photoshoot and designing collage artwork; and working cross-functionally to create consistency across multiple channels (digital, retail, advertising).
